Seller has only 14 day return policy, August 15, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Good Best Simple Platform - 3ft. Square Classic Japanese Design Tatami Mat Table Top - 36" x 36" This tatami mat is as described. It's just a 3 foot mat and the quality seems ok. Unfortunately the size ended up being a little off for what we needed and we found out too late that the seller has a 14 day return limit rather than the 30 day policy that Amazon has. Upon finding this out we asked Oriental Furniture if we could return for store credit instead of refund. They said no. Just be wary when you buy products from Vendors that are not directly from Amazon. Other vendors are not as willing to keep customers. The mat gives off a grass scent that isn't exactly subtle, but not necessarily strong either. If you live in a humid area the grass scent might be slightly pronounced. After we couldn't return it we took it out of the box & left it in a small bedroom for the weekend. When we came back after the weekend the entire room smelled like the Mat. It's not really a horrid smell or anything- I can imagine some people might like the grass scent, but we felt it was quite... Read more
