I recently moved into a studio apartment and wanted a bit extra room--so instead of getting a bed I got this!
Shipping was surprisingly fast. It didn't even take the full 2 weeks they said it would. It was packaged really nicely as well so that no damage could be done.
The shikibuton is a little thinner than I expected when you look at it but when you lie down on it is surprisingly soft and comfortable! It is definitely made out of durable materials--the quality of manufacturing is top-notch. Plus, it folds up nice and fits in my closet perfectly! Seriously, I don't think I'll ever go back to using a normal bed.
Also, I'd recommend getting the buckwheat pillow to go with it that they sell. Together, they've changed the way I sleep and I love it.
